The 1st annual Amigos of Honduras 5K had over 80 runners. It was held in June of 2005 to raise money for the water project in Oki.

The 2nd annual 5K race was held in May of 2006 under the direction of Ronda Laws. Attendance was increased to 120. Over $4,000 was raised for the pig farm in Comayagua.
